Our goal is make sure youth are actively involved in the healing process. This can be achieved through various methods, including but not limited to:
1. Culturally Affirming Therapy: Providing therapeutic support that acknowledges and respects the individual’s cultural background and experiences.
2. Community Outreach: Engaging with the community to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and the resources available to support it.
3. Peer Support: Creating safe spaces where youth can share their experiences, learn from each other, and provide mutual support.
4. Skills Development: Offering programs that teach coping strategies, stress management, and other skills that can improve mental and emotional health.
5. Advocacy: Encouraging youth to advocate for their own needs and rights, and providing them with the tools and resources to do so.
6. Holistic Approaches: Incorporating holistic and traditional healing methods that respect and draw from the individual’s cultural background.
The ultimate goal of a Healing Center Engagement is to empower youth of color to overcome the challenges they face,
promote resilience, and foster a sense of well-being.

Healing Centered Engagement improves organizational culture, transforms individual practices, and builds healthy outcomes for youth and the adult that serve them, families, organizations, and communities.
